Zetica Rail provides track inspection services worldwide, supporting railways in adopting condition-based & predictive maintenance, resolving track issues efficiently, verifying maintenance quality, and auditing both above- and below-ground assets.

Our Railway Asset SCanning (RASC®) service delivers comprehensive inspections using compact, modular sensors. These sensors can be mounted on a customer’s rail-bound or road-rail vehicle or deployed via our self-contained RASC® POD.

We deliver actionable insights to support maintenance planning, performance benchmarking, asset condition monitoring, and evaluation of extreme weather impacts.

Innovations such as autonomous data capture, exception-based reporting, and integration with track geometry and rail deflection data enhance the efficiency and value of track inspections.

The Leadership Team

Asger Eriksen

CEO

Asger founded Zetica in 1991. A PhD-qualified scientist, he drives innovation in non-invasive inspection and data integration for efficient rail condition assessment, playing a key role in advancing infrastructure monitoring technologies.

Jon Gascoyne

Technical Consultant

Jon joined Zetica in 1992. A respected geophysicist, he developed the original Linear Route Assessment tool and now oversees all technical aspects of data capture, validation, and delivery across Zetica’s rail inspection operations.

Brian Barrett

Technical Manager

Brian joined Zetica in 2009. A PhD-qualified geophysicist, he leads advanced data processing for infrastructure, engineering, and environmental projects, with a focus on GPR, point cloud extraction, terrain modelling, and data integration.

Tom Lee

Rail Technical Manager

Tom joined Zetica in 2016. With an MPhys background, he manages global RASC projects and a dynamic analysis team, ensuring client deliverables exceed expectations through technical expertise and strong client collaboration.
